First Members Kicks Off AssociationBy Rebecca LindleyT he Alamo Ranch/151 Business Association (AR151BA) celebrated their second year on April 28, 2017 serving the Alamo Ranch/151area corridor.Ronnie and Gina Barbera, founders of AR151BA,would like to thank Gary and Debbie Harris, owners of A.C.T. Construction Services for their dedication and support of the association. Debbie and Gary became the first association members and joined in March 2015 before the first kick-off meeting took place. They have been Platinum Charter members since. They joined the AR151BA because as business owners, they knew and understood the importance of networking and forming business relationships. Besides connecting with like-minded business owners/professionals, they have the opportunity to share about their own business at monthly meetings as well as listen to professional motivational speakers. As members, they have been encouraged to help promote doing business with the other members in the association. They have received more opportunities to learn about the new businesses coming to the community by being active members and attending meetings regularly. Other benefits of being a part of the association have included having their business listing and link to their web page on the association website. As members, their business listing is also printed in the Great Northwest Guide. As members, they also are able to take advantage of other member discounts. Debbie says, “You might not need a particular service today, but down the road you already know someone you can trust when the time comes.“Debbie says joining AR151BA would be a wise choice for any new business located in or around the Alamo Ranch/151 corridor. Debbie and Gary believe becoming a member is the best way to meet other business owners and to stay informed about the future plans/growth for the area. “Initially, people join for business reasons. However, the friendships made between members are definitely worthwhile,” said Debbie.About ACT Construction ServicesAmerican Christian Turnkey Construction Services Inc. (A.C.T.
